Archangel Gabriel
This week, I’m continuing the angel discussion with Archangel Gabriel. He rules the element of water and the west. As a Pisces, I naturally gravitate towards him. I love Archangel Gabriel!
A few years ago I dealt with an entity attachment that came from someone I had been working with. It was horrible. However, I got a lot of help from wonderful human friends, and angels. Archangel Gabriel was one of the angels who came through quite powerfully. One day, after a deep prayer session, I left my house and immediately saw someone with long bright blue hair and an orange dress — Gabriel’s colors! On that same trip, on the classical station came a piece about Gabriel’s trumpets in heaven. That’s the thing about angels. When you call them, they come. When you ask for signs, you’ll see signs like the gangbusters!

“Gabriel rules the First Heaven, Shamaym; the Ninth Sphere, which is Yesod; and the moon. Gabriel’s name means “God is my strength.” His kabbalistic number is nine. His planetary colors are violet and silver. As ruler of the water element, Gabriel’s colors are blue and orange, but these colors are not used when he is invoked. His ascribed day is Monday at 1am, 8am, 3pm, and 10pm. He rules the zodiac sign of Cancer. Gabriel rules all the liquids, especially water, milk, and wine; the circulation of the blood; foods; women; the family, especially children and the mother; fertility; long voyages; plants and nature; the mind; the brain; dreams; and psychic powers.
The illnesses he rules are those affecting the lungs, the chest, the gastrointestinal tract, the uterus, and the stomach. Among his flowers are hyacinths, orchids, lilies, jasmine, gardenias, violets, and all white and purple blooms. Among his trees and plants are coconuts, belongs, plums, yams, lentils, eucalyptus, mint, and chestnut and willow trees. His incenses are camphor and myrrh. Among his stones are beryl, moonstone, pearl, minter-of-pearl, chrysocolla, selenite, white quartz, alexandrite, and alabaster. His metal is silver. The animals he rules are dogs, wolves, cows, hares, chickens, crustaceans and all aquatic animals, deer, elephants, bears, bulls, and owls.”
So, a simple way to call Archangel Gabriel to you would be to place a violet or silver handle on your altar. You might light some myrrh incense, and place a moonstone and some jasmine flowers next to it. Then pray to Archangel Gabriel, and be ready to be answered!
