New age teachings focus a lot on guides and angels, and refer to God as “The Universe,” “Source,” or “The Creator.”
I have a hard time connecting with those terms. How about you?
For me, it’s super easy to connect with ascended masters, guides, and angels…not easy to connect with “The Universe.”
Your Perception of God
Many have issues with the word God for many reasons, some being because ancient humans labeled God as masculine, angry, and punishing. Men in charge used God to instill fear and shame within us in order to force us to comply.
So it makes sense nowadays that some of us choose to instead focus on connecting with angels and guides who are relatable and easy to see, hear, and know.
Is “The Creator” not Unconditional Love?
God exists regardless of the terminology used. And guides and angels are all part of it. When life gets punishingly hard, linking straight up with God could be just the thing you need.
However, nobody wants to hook up to a God who punishes and destroys. We want pure unconditional love, kindness, caring, support. If God (The Creator) made the guides and angels, would God not love you with the same type of energy you receive from your unseen friends, if not even more?
The more you ask to connect with God, the closer God comes to you. And hooking straight up to the source, knowing you will receive all the support you need, can be life-changing in the most positive way.
