Are you an extra-sensitive person?
If so, you KNOW it’s not easy. You feel everything, whether you want to or not. The worst part about being extra sensitive and empathic is trying to figure out a) why you felt fine before, but you don’t now b) where or who what you are picking up on is coming from and c) how to clear it and get back to your own normal vibration. Trust me – I know! And doing readings makes it even harder, because I feel the energy and emotions of the people I work with. I have to work extra hard and spend a LOT of time doing energy work on myself simply because I’m a sponge that way.
One thing I’ve noticed, though, is that a lot of people don’t talk about the positive aspects of being an extra-sensitive person. And that’s why I made this little video chat about it.
Those of us who are sensitive have the benefit of feeling really GOOD energy more strongly than others do. We avoid negative people, places, and situations, which keeps our vibration high, and we’re excellent at helping others, and relating to them differently because we can tell what they need and why.
There really isn’t much you can do about being a sensitive person other than to embrace it and make it work for you. If you try to dull your senses, you’re just blocking out your own high vibration and shutting off your magic. But if you learn how to celebrate it and to work with it, it can help you in so many ways.

In a nutshell, though, here are 3 steps to help you create stronger boundaries:
1. Get a sense of your own true vibration (the easiest way is to check in with how you feel first thing in the morning)
2. Notice who (and what) triggers your change in mood or energetic vibration
3. Clear your energy by mediating, praying, going for a walk or working out, listening to music, or doing anything you really love to do. (Funny tip: I noticed a few months ago that standing right near a waterfall magically clears my energy like you would not believe!)
