Many people get readings to gather information about the future. Sometimes, negative predictions will come up. The pronouncement of a negative future outcome often depends on the reader. I, for example, don’t want to give bad news. Some readers will, and have no qualms about it.

Here’s a classic example of a dire prediction and how fate always catches up to you. In the myth of Oedipus, a father was told he would have a son who would end up killing him. So this father sent his son away to a herdsman and told him to kill the baby. That herdsman, like the one in Snow White and the Huntsman, did not kill the baby. So he grew up. One day, the father and son met at a crossroads, neither knowing who the other was. They got into a squabble, Oedipus ended up killing his father, and the prophecy was fulfilled.

Would you want to know if something really bad is going to happen?

I pondered this and came up with a list of basic pros and cons. In reviewing, it seems like the pros are better than the cons because the cons are all pretty much saying the same thing – this foreknowledge can be too overwhelming!

Pros of knowing a dire future outcome:

  • You can live life to the fullest while the going’s still good
  • You have the opportunity to work on your mindset
  • You can operate from a different perspective than most because of this foresight
  • You can practice and prepare and make yourself stronger in the process

Cons of knowing a dire future outcome:

  • Your consciousness can’t handle some dire things! It may cause a severe trauma response
  • No matter what you do, it’s going to happen – extremely disempowering from a manifesting perspective
  • It’s always there hanging over your head, like a constant thing running in the background
  • It might make all of life seem futile – what’s the point?

Knowing a bad outcome ultimately gives you an opportunity to work on yourself, to really sharpen and hone your ability to make the most of it. However, this is a near-Herculean task. Not impossible, but definitely a project you can really sink your teeth into.

Would you want to know if something bad is going to happen that’s inevitable? What would you do with that information?

Do you remember the last time you experienced precognition? It can be so subtle that it’s easy to ignore. Unless you keep a sharp eye out and pay close attention.

Recently 3 powerful examples of precognition came across my radar and I just had to share with you! It’s more fun if you watch me tell the stories in the video above. But here’s a brief summary:

1. How I had a powerful flash about losing my gym key card – and then lost (and found it again) that same morning
2. How my friend thought about sharks and then saw one while swimming in the ocean shortly thereafter
3. How that same friend warned her teenage son to buckle up – and then there was a car accident that evening

Precognition is a very natural protective sense that we all have. It’s like an animal instinct, and we are animals.

If you’d like to sharpen your precognitive skills, set an intention, and then PAY ATTENTION! Keep a journal and write down the insights you have. This will signal to your subconscious that you’re serious about developing this innate talent, and it will absolutely start working for you more often.

Have you had a precognitive flash that came to pass? Share it in the comments!

Thanks so much for reaching and watching, and I’ll see you next time.
