Practical Advice for the

Spiritually Curious & Magically Inclined

Krishanti's Blog

Even though we all know the future is VERY mutable and changeable and NOT set in stone, when it comes to getting readings, it’s one of those things EVERYONE wants to take a sneak peek at. We want an idea of what’s going to happen; we want to know how things are going to turn out. We want to know who is coming and when and where and why and what it’s going to mean and how it’s going to happen.

But as much as we like to believe that we have control over things and can manifest whatever we want in life, however we want it, the sad truth is, some things are not up to us to decide. Some things are it’s just about…

FATE.

That four-letter word we don’t like to think exists (unless it’s tied to something really incredible and amazing).

How we detest the idea of fate!!! We want to be in control; we want things to go the way we want them to.

But we are all here to learn lessons, to go through things, to learn, evolve, and grow. And that means that we have to sometimes wait longer than we want for soul mates to appear. That we have to deal with similar types of situations. That it’s our fate for this to happen or for that to happen.

In the video above, I wax on a bit about fate vs. free will. What’s very intriguing to me that I’ve noticed a lot lately is that you can create different variables related to a situation, but the core lesson will still remain. For instance, you can not marry one person, and then marry another, and have a very similar type of situation occur in that relationship that would have occurred if you’d married the other person. That’s just one example – but there are billions of different potential situations this can be applied to, from the minute to the OMG that is HUGE.

Yes, we do have a certain degree of control in our lives – but we can’t control everything. And that’s where fate comes in. Maybe it’s not such a bad word after all…because who knows what would happen if there wasn’t a higher force setting the stage for life as it unfolds?

If you’re reading this, you are someone who has done or is doing a lot of work on yourself – as am I. So you know what I’m talking about when I say that a) sometimes it can feel arduous and b) it’s supposed to be FUN.

We tend to forget the fun part – how good it’s supposed to feel when we’re “working” on ourselves. But in order for improvement to really be effective, it helps to love the process. Which means, we get to listen to music we love. To run and play and do things we love to do, things that make us feel good while we’re doing them and make us feel even better afterwards.

I have seen first hand how the light conquers the dark. And believe you me when I tell you, light wins with laughter (and I’m not talking Sunday School squeaky clean humor here either). Light wins with music – even rap music and dance music. Light wins with celebrating life, with love and gratitude and giving back and praying and meditating, in a way that’s real and flows authentically.

All of the work we do on ourselves is essentially an attempt to bring out the divine in us so we can get through this dark, dense earth plane (well, the human aspect of it) and transform it into more light while we’re here. We are divine beings just having a human experience for now.

So let’s have fun with it!!!!!

Have you ever walked into a space and felt instantly yucky? I have! The first time I REALLY noticed this was when I innocently wandered into a witchy shop in New Orleans. I love all things witchy, or so I thought. Not only did they have voodoo dolls, but they had instructions on how to use them along with a number to call of a headquarters where they helped you if it didn’t work. Uh-Oh! S-C-A-R-Y!!!! The vibe in this place was so sinister I had to GET OUT!

Unless we get to work outside, we all have to be in spaces most of the day. Some of the hardest ones are spaces in which we live and spaces in which we work, places that people inhabit and release their energy out into. Let’s not even get into spaces that were negative vortices to begin with…places that are just negative all around. If you have to be in a place like that, the only thing I can tell you is to find a way to leave.

There are lots of different things you can do to clear a space, but if you work in a traditional office, you can’t exactly do the following, which are additional techniques I and other healers use to clear spaces:

  • Light a fire in a cauldron with epsom salts and 90 proof alcohol (tip courtesy of my friend Marketka Novak)
  • Burn copious amounts of sage, copal, or palo santo
  • Perform the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram with gusto
  • Install a waterfall because water is extremely clearing
  • Bring in a bunch of grounding stones and crystals
  • Use singing bowls and bells
  • Spray salt water or rosewater everywhere

These things work and are great fun to do, and they REALLY WORK! combined with a strong and clear intention. Since you can’t always employ these methods, though, the video above offers two techniques you can do with energy. The first is utilizing pillars of light, and the second is calling in the angels; it’s like a modified version of the LBRP, which you can’t do if Muggles are around because they will think you are nuts. 🙂

I hope these help!

It’s crazy times in the world right now. I suppose it always has been. But in any event, when the going gets tough…it’s TIME TO CALL IN THE ANGELS.

I love working with angels, and when you call on them, there is no doubt about it – they answer. They provide comfort, hope, healing, upliftment…and they give signs, too. It’s easy for them.

The more you intend to work with angels, the more they come through.

And so here are two really easy and powerful ways to call in the archangels when you need them. They are super simple, but incredibly comforting.

We don’t have to do this alone…there is support all around us. All we have to do is ask.

And now let me tell you a little secret about today’s video and message:

I am NOT into spirit communication. In fact, there was a sad spirit/negative energy in my bedroom the other day. I know because I felt very sad for no reason, and my 4 year old son Ivan said he was scared of the room, just out of the blue. How CREEPY is that!!!!! I called in all the angels and did a ritual to clear the energy, and it’s all better now…but if spirit communication involves that sort of thing on a daily basis…

No thank you.

But the veil seems to be thinning! There is a renewed interest in mediumship, tons of shows on TV and books and millions of people contacting departed loved ones on a daily basis worldwide – more and more people are getting the messages they need to hear from spirits, and more spirits are delivering those messages ALL THE TIME.

And if you do the kind of work I do, doing readings and energy healings and tapping into the universal flow of energy on a daily basis, you can’t avoid the occasional spirit. Even if you want to.

Here’s a story about how one came through MEGA POWERFULLY! a few months ago:

My dear friend Louise was visiting from Australia. She was going through a difficult time, and she was also feeling like she needed to clear up some unfinished business regarding the death of her partner, Sheri, 15 years ago. Sheri was one of the great loves of Louise’s life, and it was a tragedy that she died so young.

One day, Louise and I were playing cards (which means Tarot cards LOL) and I started to get some strange cards, along with a headache and a pain in my solar plexus chakra. I tried to ignore it but it wouldn’t go away, and finally I said, “Louise, I think Sheri’s trying to talk to me.” Louise looked surprised and excited and said I reminded her of Whoopi Goldberg in Ghost by trying to ignore it. So I just went for it and told her what was coming through. Were were both amazed and a bit stunned, and the headache abated. I had to go get my son from preschool, so that was the end of that session.

However, a couple of days later Louise and I were shopping at Home Goods, and I got the same headache and solar plexus pain. I knew Sheri was trying to come through and I told Louise. Because it would take a while to get home and the headache was so bad, we decided to just see what Sheri wanted to say right there in my car in the Home Goods parking lot.

Although I felt crazy and eccentric, we went for it. It was like being a foreign language interpreter in a way…Sheri spoke in my mind and I delivered the messages. I really let go of my ego and the fear of being wrong or dumb, and the communication became crystal clear. Louise and I were both crying, and Louise said without a doubt it was Sheri, whom I had never met. Sheri talked about why she died, what Louise needed to do in order to be happy, and gave us some insight as to what it was like on the other side. Sheri also said she was going to reincarnate soon and that her new family “is gonna LOVE me.” Louise laughed and said that was so Sheri.

One thing that was very interesting that Sheri said was this: even though she was going to reincarnate, Louise could still talk to her. She said it would be like when you’re on the phone and you get call waiting: you can still answer the other line.

She gave a symbol for Louise to notice that Sheri would be around (which she saw THE NEXT DAY when she was walking in a park with Sheri’s sister) and the profound wave of healing, love, and hope that we both received was nothing short of miraculous.

If you are interested in communicating with your loved ones, they are simply not that far away. They might be busy, and there are certain times when they can’t come through (Sheri told us this), but when they can, they will.

And if you want to learn mediumship, there are a lot of resources out there right now! One place in particular that I know is very, very good is the Arthur Findlay College in the UK.

I have lost loved ones, and I’m sure you have too. It is so comforting to know that we are not as far away from each other as it may seem, and that there really is no loss. The soul lives on long after the body is gone, and there really is no cause for sorrow.

With so many scary and potentially scary things happening on a global scale, I wanted to take a moment to talk about the power of love and positivity in the face of adversity.

Everything is so tense right now that it’s easy for people to turn on one another and look at each other through eyes of fear and hatred. But if we take this opportunity to work on our own understanding, tolerance, and love, we can not only grow by leaps and bounds, but we can reverse the tidal wave of darkness and herald in a new era of light.

I recorded this video several weeks ago and didn’t post it because I stumbled over my words some (at one point I say “contribute to people feeing downtrodden” and I mean to say “understand why people feel downtrodden and help solve the problem” or at least something more coherent) and I felt like it was kind of long, but I decided to put it up anyway. No, there hasn’t been a police shooting of an innocent victim in the US (that has been publicized at least) in a few weeks. And there hasn’t been a terror attack (that we have been told about) in the past few weeks either. But tensions are still running high…wars are raging and people are suffering…and as far as terror attacks go, I have been contemplating a trip to France, and they just found a car packed with gas cylinders outside of Notre Dame. Ugh.

Things have never been easy on earth, and people have hated each other because of politics, race and religion since the dawn of time. At times like this, though, we have to remember that we are not powerless (even though it feels that way). Just because we’re not heads of state doesn’t mean we can’t start our own personal campaigns to spread more love in our communities, the kind of love that heals and changes lives.

We can start to make change happen by returning to a purity of heart, by understanding each other, and by being friendly. By loving. By talking. One person smiling with an open heart at another person can start a domino effect of lovingkindness, which is POWERFUL. It can change the way people feel. It can create unity. It’s true that the darkness is scary and that it seems like we can’t do anything to stop it, but what we can do is promise to look out for each other, to be good to one another, and to love no matter how scared and angry we are. That is how we can make a difference and that is how we can – and will – get through this.

Spiritual Superiority!?!

,

The idea of what I’ll call Spiritual Superiority came onto my radar recently.

Basically, it’s the notion that spiritual teachers are better than other people. It’s like the spiritual equivalent of capitalism. There are some spiritual teachers who have a vested interest in having their followers think they have it all figured out.

And with the advent of social media, they are able to craft an image of themselves that shows the world that they are happy, successful, and “on point” with what they are doing. To my psychic eye, however, some of what I see on social media conveys an almost narcissistic need to be idolized. It reminds me of what they say about psychiatrists being the people who need the most work of all!!

If you’re on the spiritual path, I’ll say this first and foremost: beware of any spiritual teacher who tells you that you have to work with them, or or that they (and only they) know they way. Beware of any techniques that seem manipulative or coercive. And beware of anything that resembles even borderline cult-y.

The best spiritual teachers will encourage you to follow your own path and to see the light within you. You are a spark of the divine, and you possess everything you need in order to heal and grow.

The ideal teacher is really just a catalyst, plain and simple.

Because a lot of my work is about intuition, I would say you can also follow your own intuition to discover if a teacher or spiritual leader is the right person for you. I have found some to be straight up shady. I have also found some to be so incredibly wonderful, honest, and truthful that just thinking about them now makes my energy feel better (of late, I have been reading about Kabbalah by Rabbi David Cooper, who my Angel Healer friend Marjetka Novak told me about). I also love Colette Baron-Reid, Sanaya Roman and Orin, Youtube’s Gigi Young who has beautiful energy, and my dear friend, author and clairvoyant Debra Lynne Katz, who has helped me heal and grow so much.

We are all here for a reason, and because some craft a strong public presence does not mean they have all the answers! They are just the same as you, trying to get through life here on earth!

The other day, someone asked me how knowing about past lives can help you heal – like what’s the point? And I thought it would make an interesting topic to chat about.

Some people do not believe in reincarnation, and we are certainly all entitled to our beliefs. There’s room for everything. I, for one, find great comfort in knowing there is a cycle to things and that the spirit lives on outside of the physical body, so I love believing in reincarnation.

From my experience personally and with clients, knowledge about past lives can help you understand where you’ve been, with whom, and why. That knowledge can help you have a deeper sense of WHO YOU ARE and what your mission is. It can help you understand why you have certain problems, why you love certain people and places, what karma/dharma you need to work on in this lifetime, and how you can do it.

Through my own personal past life healing, I have discovered much more about who I really am and the relationships I have with others. I’d love to prattle on about it all, but I don’t want to bore you. However I do just have to mention that I was thrilled to discover recently that my best friend from high school and I were twins in a past life! We both love to dress up and we still wear the same size all these years later and little thumbnail photos of me totally look like her. It all makes sense to both of us now.

If you are interested in learning more about your true spirit, the nature of your soul, and why you are here, past life work is a wonderful and FUN thing to do. And how to do it? You can start with Brain Weiss’s book, Many Lives, Many Masters. He also has another book called Only Love is Real that I like a lot, too. There are some great past life regression meditations you can do, and you can also work with a hypnotherapist to discover more. That’s how I initially discovered that my mother in this lifetime had been my brother in a past life – no wonder I always used to wish I had been a kid when she was a kid so we could have played together all day long.

On a deeper level, the first truly healing clairvoyant reading I ever had (purchased for me by my above-mentioned best friend from high school), revealed that I had been a sage in India many many years ago. Hearing that truth was like breathing deeply for the first time ever. The energy in the room literally shifted when that came through and we were all FLOORED by how powerful it was (two people were doing the reading). And that reading literally changed my life.

You are so much more than your personality in this lifetime. And knowing who you are on that deep soul level can only help you heal and grow even more.

My 4 year-old son Ivan said something profound recently:

“When people get old, they go back into heaven, and they start to get back into being a baby again. They go around and around and around.”

From the mouths of babes! LOL!

How to TIME TRAVEL!

,

I have always loved the concept of time traveling. How about you?

While I don’t think anyone has yet created a little machine that humans can step into and then hurtle back in time (unless there’s a top secret government project they haven’t told us about), there are ways you can time travel with your consciousness. The easiest way to do it is via remote viewing, where you just shift your awareness with certain techniques and then direct your consciousness to go to a specific moment in the past or the future.

Of course, time traveling is one thing – another thing altogether is how to change what you see when you do it. All the movies say you can’t and mustn’t do anything to alter the whole space-time continuum. I’m not going to get into all of that here because it’s way super out there and theoretical and hypothetical and I don’t think my musings would be helpful.

What I have found interesting and helpful for clients, though, when it comes to personal healing, is the time traveling you can do to heal your own past and potentially shift your own future.

Time Traveling to Heal Your Past

Through deep meditative techniques, and through hypnosis as well, you can ABSOLUTELY travel back into your past and heal things. Now, I’m not sure about literally CHANGING events, because that is hardcore, but there is a technique where you can go back to really difficult times in your past and comfort yourself as you’re experiencing something depressing or traumatic, and that process is extremely healing and empowering.

Time Traveling to View and/or Create Your Future

Through the same deep meditative and hypnotic techniques, you can take a look at your future. Because what you do in the present affects your future, you can also create your future and/or work to affect a new outcome. This is sort of the same thing as visualization, only it’s a tad more powerful when your brain waves are in that mode they get into when you meditate or are under hypnosis.

There are some funny time traveling videos on YouTube that show “proof” that people have time-traveled via old photographs. I think the “Time-Traveling Hipster” one is kind of funny especially because he doesn’t really look like a hipster to me and, has anyone heard of Photoshop? The thing is, you can actually bring the holographic image of your body with you when you time travel, and some people can see that, but they typically perceive it as a ghost or apparition.

Bottom line to all of this is that there is so much more to the world as we see it than…the world as we see it. Layers and dimensions and possibilities are all around us, and the more we open up to them, the more they open up to us.

The only limits are the ones we create and believe in.

How do you feel about the way you look – REALLY?

I have worked with so many people from all walks of life, and believe you me when I tell you, 95% (if not MORE!) of all of us are not thrilled with how we look.

Whether it’s because of how we were raised, how other kids treated us in school (in 4th grade a cute popular boy stared at me and when I asked him why he said “Because you are so ugly! You look like an ugly witch, with your big ugly witch nose and your ugly witch chin.”), or anything else – we all have appearance issues. Even the models and actors (especially the models and actors, LOL).

Spiritually speaking, this disconnect from our bodies is obviously painful and causes a rift between how our spirit and soul expresses itself in this physical reality. If you hate your body or the way you look, it’s not comfortable for your spirit to fully occupy it, so it’s hard to be fully present in the here and now, and, bottom line, to fully enjoy your life. That means it’s hard to:

1. be happy
2. feel good
3. manifest things and experiences you want
4. radiate love from your heart chakra to yourself and everyone around you
5. keep your body healthy and strong

(to name a few things!)

In this video I talk about a couple of very simple and fun techniques to raise your self-esteem and not cringe at your reflection in a mirror or your image in a photograph.

Another thing you can do, which I didn’t really cover so much, is to just LOVE LOVE LOVE your body for working for you. Love your hands for doing all these things for you. Love your feet for supporting you. Love your eyes for seeing, your ears for hearing, your mouth for tasting and talking, your brain for thinking, your heart for beating, your lungs for breathing. Be gentle and good to yourself. Stop with the criticism: enough is enough.

With Love and Light!
